Goal
Life without goals is like a race without a finish line. If you don’t know what your goals are, you are running nowhere. The hustle for the mega project idea started the day it was announced, but the uncertainty, doubts, and lack of decision-making were leading us nowhere.
The circle having six out of seven people from an engineering background, nothing could be better than making life easier for people through what we are learning through engineering. Looking around ourselves and thinking about the daily problems every one of us face mostly was Load shedding. This was the moment where the idea of green energy awareness and related consultation came into our minds.
When we jumped into the market and started exploring things, we found the market very competitive. To make our idea unique and stand out, we made our consultation free. Eventually, these became our goals and the motive behind our startup named System Energy.

Business Model
a. Key Partners
We are collaborating with the startup solar engineering procurement & Installation company “System Energy-SE”. They believe that their success has been fuelled by the reliable & cost-effective products to satisfy clients.
b. Key Activities
Consultation: With the help of SE consultant team free consultation is provided in which all the details required by the clients are kept in focus. A simple procedure is performed that enables customers to understand what they required and choose from a wide range that we have to offer reduce energy costs by up to 30% maximum their saving.
Inquiry Of System: Handling of all the procedures like installation of solar PV system with intelligent decision maker inverter and net metering operations.
Team Site Survey: Expert team of engineers in which our members also assist the members of the SE go on site visit to make sure the best practices are met, and client gets the best possible solution. This includes load calculation, area survey and system placement.
Contract Formation: A proper contract in the name of System Energy-SE in which all the clauses are mentioned to make sure that company and client’s interests are met.
Installation: Installation of solar systems is done according to the needs and requirements of the clients in this case clients do not get worried and oversee the process that happens in the most proficient manner. Our team of expert Engineers will supervisor work and will install system that possess minimum losses.
After-Sales Services: Any support provided to a client after the purchasing of the solar system. Our After-Sales service include warranty and repair for a product. Free service will be given till one year of installation.
Marketing: Our members involve in promoting the page on social media in creating the awareness about the importance of bio energy and knowledge about the products and services SE provides.
c. Value Proposition:
This is an easy platform that creates environmentally friendly electricity. It is the easiest and most convenient way to save money on electricity bills. This determines your savings over the life of your system. The higher your rates, the more you can save with solar. This also lowers the burden on conventional electrical grid and provide sustainable energy to people.
d. Customer Segment:
Commercial, residential, and industrial clients are catered. Solar PV system will be installed according to application of customers. They are mainly divided in to two types, On-Grid Solar System for Industrial clients as they have heavy machinery and Hybrid Solar System for commercial and residential clients, they have light loads with requirement of battery pack.
e. Revenue Stream
Market compatible quotes are provided to the clients in which details of the price are given and revenue is generated from the client. Commissioning of system will be done by SE, and we will get 5 to 8 percent of total profit that is being generated by installation.

Planning of humble beginning
Social media and content:
We’ve decided that the members we’re having with the interests of social media marketing and content creating, we’ll be responsible for the management of social media via Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and whats-app etc.
Consultation and Report:
As we have to consult with a lot of partners and generate reports, we have four of our members in this area having immense knowledge about technical stuffs.
Target
We have decided that we will consult with at least 3 clients this week for which our 3 of 7 members will work relentlessly.
Challenges
It is well known that solar energy is very efficient as we can benefit from the sunlight which is totally free of cost. But we still have to pay for the solar PV which is quite expensive. To overcome this challenge we can outsource it by reaching a partner.
Another challenge is to make this project understandable to a layman. Very few people have a technical background and if we are unable to explain well, our project won’t be able to attract attention from many people. To overcome this, we have decided to share our content through social media in simple terms that everyone can understand. Moreover, we have also added the option of in person meetings.
